LJMU Bachelor's Programme

DCT is pleased to introduce a new pathway programme for its students to continue their education and obtain a BA (Hons) degree from UK University, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU).

Liverpool John Moores University is ranked 2nd in the UK for its Hospitality, Leisure, Recreation and Tourism programmes, cccording to the The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.

Students who have completed their DCT Diploma with the required GPA and wish to continue their education further can progress onto the DCT Advanced Diploma which opens a pathway to one of the following degree programmes:

  • BA (Hons) International Tourism Management
  • BA (Hons) Event Management
  • BA (Hons) Retail Business Management

The accredited BA (Hons) degrees will further prepare students to enter Dubai’s tourism sector and contribute towards nurturing a new generation of skilled professionals.

BA Programmes

All BA (Hons) students will study the following core modules:

  • Strategic Management
  • Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
  • Personal Development and Employment
  • Business Consultancy

*Entry into the pathway programme is only available for students of Dubai College of Tourism who have successfully completed the DCT Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Events, or Retail Business with the required GPA of 2.5.
